SHPE held the second general meeting on the Mason Building on September 24, 2009. Pizza from Papa Johns was served. Due to a misunderstanding and an error by their part, less pizza than what was expected had to be served. Also, a presentation by the president was given with respect to the different activities that are about to happen, such as Team Buzz, SHPE Conventions coming up and new improvements. The most important part of the meeting was the election of the new external vice-president, in which each candidate gave a short speech. At the end, the present SHPE members elected Catalina Araya to the position.
